    The Challenge

The forum required multiple event functions to operate together across one integrated environment.

The exhibition area needed to accommodate six diamond sponsors and 30 additional sponsors while maintaining a clear and cohesive visual identity. At the same time, the venue required a strong central stage, breakout presentation areas, an impactful arrival sequence and consistent branding throughout.

A bespoke main stage was delivered as the central presentation environment, supported by additional breakout stages for smaller sessions and discussions.

At the arrival point, Evolution Scenic created a custom entry arch incorporating dynamic content, establishing a strong first impression and introducing the visual language of the event from the outset.

  • DUCAB – Double-Decker Exhibition Stand Fabrication, Dubai (2023)

Evolution Scenic DUCAB double-decker stand with curved glazed mezzanine and illuminated exhibition displays

Multi-level exhibition stands need to combine visual impact with structural performance, clear visitor circulation and practical business functionality. For DUCAB at the Middle East Electricity exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre, Evolution Scenic designed and fabricated a custom-built double-decker stand incorporating a mezzanine-level meeting space above a product showcase and reception environment.

Measuring 12 metres by 10 metres, the stand combined custom shelving, integrated LED lighting, branded focal points, patterned vinyl flooring, furniture and decorative elements. The mezzanine structure was also load tested in accordance with Dubai Municipality requirements, ensuring that the finished stand met both operational and safety standards within a limited delivery programme.

Evolution Scenic curved mezzanine frontage with tempered glass and backlit acrylic signage.

    The Challenge

The stand needed to accommodate several functions within one compact exhibition footprint.

Private meetings were required at mezzanine level, while the ground floor needed to support product display, reception and visitor engagement. These areas had to remain visually connected while operating independently.

The elevated floor introduced additional structural and compliance requirements, including load testing in line with Dubai Municipality regulations. At the same time, the fabrication and installation had to be completed within a restricted exhibition build programme.

The challenge was therefore to coordinate scenic fabrication, structural performance, branding, furniture and finishes within one multi-level environment.

Raised exhibition platform with front access ramp and integrated DUCAB LED backdrop.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic designed and built a 12m x 10m double-decker exhibition stand with a dedicated mezzanine floor for private meetings.

The lower level was developed as the main visitor-facing area, incorporating reception functions and product display.

Custom spray-painted shelving was fabricated throughout the stand and fitted with integrated LED strip lighting to enhance product presentation. DUCAB logos were positioned at key focal points to maintain strong brand visibility across the environment.

Circular-patterned vinyl flooring was installed to introduce a more distinctive visual treatment while creating a consistent finish across the ground-level space.

Furniture and decorative elements were supplied to complete the exhibition environment and support both visitor engagement and business use.

To confirm the structural performance of the elevated floor, mezzanine load testing was carried out in accordance with Dubai Municipality regulations.

By coordinating the structural and scenic elements from the outset, Evolution Scenic delivered a stand that combined a strong branded presence with practical meeting and exhibition functionality.

  • Adidas Sole DXB – Triple-Deck Brand Experience & Scenic Fabrication, Dubai (2019)

Evolution Scenic triple-deck Adidas stand with Underground-inspired scenic architecture at Sole DXB Dubai.

Festival brand environments need to work as more than visual statements. They must support retail, hospitality, audience engagement and safe public use while remaining closely aligned with the identity of the brand. For Adidas at Sole DXB 2019, Evolution Scenic was commissioned by Jack Morton Worldwide to design and construct a striking triple-deck stand inspired by the gritty visual language of London’s Underground system.

The structure operated as both a retail and experiential environment, combining branded architecture, product display, visitor circulation and a second-level VIP viewing deck overlooking the festival’s main stage. Alongside the scenic design and fabrication, Evolution Scenic also carried out structural analysis to secure Municipality approval and verify the integrity of the build.

    The Challenge

The Adidas installation needed to create a strong, immersive presence within the highly competitive visual environment of Sole DXB while also supporting multiple practical functions.

The structure had to accommodate retail displays, visitor movement and elevated VIP viewing within one integrated footprint. At the same time, the overall form needed to reflect the raw, urban aesthetic of London’s Underground and remain consistent with Adidas’s brand direction.

Because the build incorporated multiple levels and an elevated viewing deck, structural safety and regulatory compliance were also critical. The design therefore needed to balance scenic expression with engineering performance and public-event requirements.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic designed and constructed the triple-deck installation using a TSG hybrid system, creating a substantial multi-level structure capable of supporting both experiential and operational functions.

The scenic treatment drew directly from the visual character of London’s Underground, using the architecture of the stand itself to establish the urban identity of the activation.

Retail display areas were integrated throughout the structure to showcase Adidas products without separating the commercial elements from the wider visitor experience.

A second-level VIP viewing deck was incorporated into the build, giving invited guests an elevated perspective of the festival’s main stage while adding a premium hospitality component to the overall activation.

To confirm structural performance and support Municipality approval, Evolution Scenic completed a detailed STAAD analysis. This ensured that the multi-level structure was assessed against the required standards before final execution.

By coordinating scenic design, structural planning, retail functionality and VIP hospitality within one build, the installation operated as a complete branded environment rather than a conventional exhibition stand.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Adidas activation for Sole DXB 2019.

    • Commissioned by Jack Morton Worldwide.

  • KSA Sign @ Osaka Expo 2025 – Sculptural Signage & Scenic Fabrication, Osaka (2025)

Evolution Scenic illuminated scenic feature for the KSA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.

Large-format sculptural signage can operate as both a branding element and an architectural focal point. For the KSA presence at Expo 2025 Osaka, Evolution created a custom sculptural sign designed to reflect Saudi Arabia’s identity while providing a strong visual centrepiece for the pavilion’s opening ceremony.

The finished installation combined precise fabrication with bold three-dimensional form and metallic gold and bronze finishes, creating a distinctive branded feature suited to the scale and profile of the international event.

    The Challenge

The sign needed to function as more than conventional event branding. It had to achieve enough physical presence to stand as a sculptural feature while remaining visually refined and appropriate to the Saudi Arabia pavilion environment.

The fabrication therefore required careful control of proportion, surface finish and dimensional accuracy so that the completed installation would read clearly from multiple viewing positions and maintain a premium appearance at close range.

    The Solution

Evolution developed the KSA sign as a bespoke three-dimensional scenic installation, combining engineered internal construction with carefully finished external forms.

The individual letter elements were fabricated to create a substantial sculptural presence, with the final surfaces treated in gold and bronze finishes to reinforce the visual identity of the installation.

Attention to alignment, consistency and finishing ensured that the separate components read as one cohesive feature once assembled within the pavilion environment.

The result was a large-scale branded installation that combined signage, scenic fabrication and sculptural presentation within a single feature.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Bespoke KSA sculptural signage.

    • Installation for Expo 2025 Osaka.

    • Three-dimensional letter fabrication.

The completed KSA sign created a strong visual focal point for the Saudi Arabia pavilion and its opening ceremony at Expo 2025 Osaka.

Its dimensional form and metallic finishes gave the branding a more architectural and sculptural presence than conventional signage, helping it operate as part of the wider pavilion environment rather than simply as a graphic identifier.

The project demonstrates Evolution Scenic’s ability to translate branding into large-scale physical installations where form, finish and fabrication quality are central to the final visual impact.
