• THA SES Stand – Bespoke Exhibition Stand Fabrication, Riyadh (2024)

Evolution Scenic THA Stand with illuminated storage pillars and geometric scenic walls in Riyadh.

Exhibition stands need to combine brand visibility with practical functionality, giving visitors a clear and engaging environment while supporting the operational needs of the exhibitor. For the Saudi Event Show 2024 in Riyadh, Evolution Scenic was commissioned by THA to design, fabricate and install a bespoke exhibition stand built around clean architectural lines, integrated branding and functional display elements.

The stand incorporated custom wooden slat walls, TV screens, raised flooring, structural pillars with LED lightboxes, concealed storage, illuminated branding panels and carefully arranged furniture. Together, these elements created a professional and cohesive environment designed to support visitor engagement while maintaining a polished visual identity.

    The Challenge

The stand needed to achieve a strong visual presence within the wider exhibition while remaining practical for day-to-day use throughout the show.

Branding, digital content and display features had to be integrated cleanly into the structure rather than applied as separate elements. At the same time, the stand required concealed storage and comfortable furniture without allowing these functional requirements to compromise the overall appearance.

The challenge was therefore to balance visual impact, brand communication, visitor comfort and operational practicality within one compact exhibition environment.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic developed the stand as a coordinated package of scenic fabrication, lighting integration and spatial planning.

Custom wooden slat walls and backdrops were fabricated as primary architectural features, with integrated TV screens and branded panels incorporated directly into the structures.

A raised platform was installed to define the stand footprint and provide a clean, durable floor finish across the environment.

Structural pillars were designed with integrated LED lightboxes to increase brand visibility while also incorporating concealed storage, allowing practical requirements to be absorbed into the scenic architecture.

Additional LED-backlit branding panels were installed throughout the stand to create clear and illuminated brand messaging.

Furniture was sourced through rental and arranged to complement the layout, providing comfortable meeting and engagement areas without disrupting circulation or the visual balance of the stand.

  • Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach – Ramadan Scenic Installation, Dubai (2022)

Evolution Scenic CNC-routed mashrabiya entrance arch at Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach.environment.

Hospitality installations need to enhance the guest experience without compromising the operation of the venue around them. For Ramadan 2022, Evolution Scenic delivered a fixed seasonal installation at SUQ Restaurant within Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach Resort, transforming the dining environment through a combination of traditional architectural references, bespoke scenic fabrication and ambient lighting.

The project included six custom mashrabiya arches, decorative walkway features, a stage constructed above the existing water fountain, fairy lighting and branded scenic elements. Every part of the installation was developed to create a cohesive Ramadan atmosphere while working carefully around the restaurant’s existing architecture and operating hours.

Fairy-light installation integrated across the Ramadan scenic environment at SUQ Restaurant.

    The Challenge

The installation needed to create a strong visual transformation while remaining sensitive to the daily operation of a luxury hospitality environment.

SUQ Restaurant remained active during the installation period, so fabrication and on-site works had to be planned around guest access and operating hours. Unfinished scenic elements could not be left exposed within the customer environment.

The existing layout also introduced spatial constraints, particularly around the water fountain, where the entertainment stage had to be integrated without compromising the surrounding architecture or circulation.

The challenge was therefore to balance decorative impact, operational continuity and efficient use of the available space.

Decorative walkway portal repeating the mashrabiya language throughout the hospitality interior.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic developed a bespoke Ramadan installation centred around architectural scenic features and warm decorative lighting.

Six mashrabiya arches were designed and fabricated using intricate geometric patterns inspired by traditional regional architecture. Internal upright lighting was incorporated into the structures to add depth and create a warm visual effect throughout the dining environment.

Additional decorative arches were positioned along key walkways, helping guide guests through the restaurant while extending the same visual language across the space.

A custom entertainment stage was constructed above the existing water fountain. This required the scenic structure to work around the existing feature rather than replace or obscure it. Custom lighting and fabric embellishments were incorporated into the stage treatment to maintain consistency with the Ramadan aesthetic.

Fairy lights were installed throughout the dining area to provide an additional layer of ambient illumination, while bespoke branded elements reinforced the identity of the seasonal activation.

Installation sequencing was carefully planned around restaurant operations so that work could progress without disrupting guests or leaving incomplete elements visible during service hours.

  • AD Port Group Innovation – Exhibition Fabrication & Scenic Branding, Abu Dhabi (2025)

Evolution Scenic custom AD Port Group exhibition booths installed in Abu Dhabi.

Corporate innovation events require environments that can support presentations, exhibitions and brand communication within one cohesive visual framework. For the AD Port Group Innovation event in Abu Dhabi, Evolution Scenic delivered a coordinated package of scenic fabrication and branded installations designed to balance functionality with strong visual presentation.

The scope included custom exhibition booths, a central main stage, a branded welcome wall, illuminated lightboxes, modular branding panels, boat cladding and bleacher covers. Together, these elements created a polished event environment that supported both content delivery and audience engagement.

    The Challenge

The event required several different scenic and exhibition functions to operate within one consistent branded environment.

Exhibition booths needed to provide professional presentation spaces, while the main stage had to support key presentations and discussions. Additional branding features were required at arrival points and throughout the venue to maintain a clear event identity.

Existing elements such as the boat and bleacher seating also needed to be visually integrated into the wider event environment, requiring bespoke cladding and cover solutions rather than leaving them visually disconnected from the rest of the space.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic designed and fabricated a series of custom exhibition booths tailored to the event layout and presentation requirements.

A central main stage was constructed with premium scenic finishes to provide a strong focal point for presentations, discussions and programmed content.

At the entrance, a branded welcome wall was fabricated to establish a clear arrival moment and reinforce the identity of the event from the outset.

Illuminated lightbox panels were installed throughout the environment to increase brand visibility and create stronger visual focal points.

Modular branding panels were also supplied, providing a flexible solution for event messaging and content changes across different areas.

Custom boat cladding was produced to visually integrate the vessel into the wider event setting, while bespoke bleacher covers were added to refine the appearance of the seating areas and maintain consistency across the venue.

  • Investopia – Scenic Production & Custom Event Fabrication, Abu Dhabi (2023)

Evolution Scenic 21-metre Investopia main stage with illuminated circular scenic centrepiece.

Large investment forums require event environments that support keynote content, press activity, networking, private meetings and hospitality while maintaining one consistent visual identity. For the second edition of Investopia in Abu Dhabi in March 2023, Evolution Scenic delivered a broad scenic package for a two-day forum attended by more than 1,400 industry leaders, policymakers and investors.

Hosted by the Ministry of Economy at the Hilton in Abu Dhabi, the event included a 21-metre-wide main stage, two additional breakout and press stages, a six-metre-high circular ring logo, 35 custom B2B meeting booths, branded TV studio backdrops, interactive pre-function areas and an outdoor Gala Dinner environment.

    The Challenge

Investopia required multiple event functions to operate simultaneously across several spaces while maintaining a cohesive visual language.

The main conference needed a high-impact stage suitable for keynote sessions, while breakout discussions and press conferences required their own dedicated presentation environments.

The event also depended heavily on one-to-one networking, meaning 35 private B2B meeting booths had to be incorporated efficiently into the venue.

A further challenge was the fabrication of the large circular ring logo, which needed to achieve significant scale and a highly reflective metallic finish while remaining suitable for installation within the wider scenic environment.

The pre-function and Gala Dinner areas also needed their own visual treatment, extending the event identity beyond the main conference spaces.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic developed and installed a coordinated scenic package across all primary event zones.

The main stage measured 21 metres wide and incorporated a circular scenic centrepiece with programmable lighting, creating a strong focal point for keynote presentations and major sessions.

Two additional stages were delivered for breakout discussions and press conferences, maintaining consistency in branding and scenic treatment across the wider event programme.

A six-metre-high circular ring logo was fabricated using a combination of styrofoam, gelcoat, metal square tubing and MDF cladding. The finished structure was treated with a reflective silver metallic chrome finish, giving the element a strong sculptural presence within the event environment.

For business networking, Evolution Scenic built 35 custom B2B meeting booths designed to balance privacy with efficient use of space.

The pre-function area included branded TV studio backdrops and interactive zones for interviews and promotional content, creating additional engagement points outside the main conference rooms.

For the Gala Dinner, an outdoor scenic environment was created on the Hilton terrace using ambient lighting and bespoke scenic elements to establish a more refined evening setting.

  • Qudwa Teachers' Forum – Scenic Production & Multi-Room Conference Environments, Abu Dhabi (2017)

Evolution Scenic main auditorium stage and black scenic backdrop at Emirates Palace.

Large education forums require event environments that can support plenary sessions, smaller breakout discussions, informal networking and consistent branding across multiple spaces. For the Qudwa Global Teachers’ Forum at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, Evolution delivered a comprehensive scenic package for an international gathering of more than 800 educators.

Supported by the Education Affairs Office within the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, the forum welcomed senior dignitaries including His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Evolution’s scope included a fully customised main auditorium, nine breakout rooms, bespoke stages and backdrops, corridor infographic installations, furnished outdoor terraces and branded scenic and digital elements throughout the venue.

    The Challenge

The forum required Emirates Palace to be transformed into a cohesive education event environment spanning multiple rooms and guest areas.

The main conference needed a professional auditorium for keynote content, while nine breakout rooms had to support smaller sessions and discussions. Six of these rooms were created within the ballroom itself, requiring careful scenic division and individual staging within a shared venue.

The event also needed to extend beyond formal presentation areas. Corridors had to communicate useful content, outdoor terraces needed to support lunch breaks and informal interaction, and the Qudwa brand had to remain consistent across all scenic and digital touchpoints.

    The Solution

Evolution developed a multi-zone scenic solution tailored to the programme and layout of the forum.

Six breakout rooms were constructed inside the ballroom, each with its own bespoke stage and backdrop. Three additional breakout rooms were created elsewhere within the venue, giving the event nine dedicated smaller-session environments in total.

For the main conference programme, Evolution delivered a fully customised auditorium designed to provide a clear and professional setting for keynote presentations and large-format sessions.

Corridors were transformed into informative spaces through custom infographic installations highlighting key insights and takeaways from the forum. This extended the event content beyond the conference rooms and created additional points of engagement for attendees moving through the venue.

Outdoor terraces were furnished with custom-designed furniture, providing more relaxed spaces for lunch breaks and informal discussion.

The Qudwa identity was applied consistently across scenic and digital elements, ensuring that the main auditorium, breakout rooms, circulation spaces and hospitality areas all felt part of one coordinated event environment.

  • Tropicfeel & Practical Pop-Up – Sustainable Retail Fit-Out, Dubai (2025)

Evolution Scenic Tropicfeel pop-up with mobile product displays and steel Range Rover ramps in Dubai.

Temporary retail environments can be designed to deliver a premium customer experience without relying entirely on new fabrication. For the Tropicfeel and Practical collaborative pop-up at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai, Evolution delivered a full turnkey retail fit-out with a strong emphasis on reuse, refurbishment and practical functionality.

The project combined existing display assets from both brands with new custom-built elements, including fitting room and storage partitions, branded billing counters with integrated planters and a feature separator wall with a frameless LED screen. From material sourcing and fabrication through to logistics and installation, the space was developed as a coordinated retail environment that balanced sustainability with a clean, contemporary finish.

Reusable Tropicfeel retail joinery installed within a 10 × 8 metre area.

    The Challenge

The pop-up needed to bring together two brands within one cohesive retail environment while making effective use of existing assets.

Rather than starting with a completely new build, Evolution needed to assess display stands supplied by both clients, determine which elements could be reused and refurbish them to a standard suitable for the finished space.

The project also required new partitions, counters, storage areas and a digital feature wall, all of which needed to sit comfortably alongside the refurbished elements.

A compressed delivery programme added further pressure, requiring refurbishment, new fabrication, logistics and on-site installation to progress in close coordination.

Evolution Scenic reusable scenic display system fabricated for future Tropicfeel activations.

    The Solution

Evolution delivered the project as a complete turnkey package, managing the process from concept development through to final installation.

Existing display stands from Tropicfeel and Practical were assessed, refurbished and reintegrated into the new layout, reducing the need for unnecessary replacement and supporting the sustainability objectives of the project.

New fitting room and storage partitions were fabricated to improve the functionality of the retail environment while maintaining a consistent visual language across the space.

Custom billing counters were also produced with integrated planters, combining operational use with a softer decorative treatment.

A feature separator wall was developed as one of the main visual anchors within the pop-up. A frameless LED screen was integrated directly into the structure, allowing digital content to become part of the architectural treatment rather than appearing as a separate display.

Material selection was managed carefully to balance environmental considerations with the finish quality expected from a premium retail environment.
