Hospitality interiors need to balance atmosphere, customer comfort and operational practicality while maintaining a strong connection to the brand. For Pedjas Kraft Coffee Shop in Dubai, Evolution Scenic delivered a comprehensive interior fit-out designed to create a warm, distinctive and functional environment.

The project combined custom joinery, bespoke furniture, decorative finishes, accent lighting and carefully selected materials to transform the coffee shop into a cohesive customer-facing space. Each element was developed to support both the visual identity of the brand and the practical requirements of day-to-day operation.

Evolution Scenic solid walnut service counter and shelving at Pedjas Kraft Coffee Shop.

    The Challenge

The coffee shop required a complete fit-out capable of creating a clear brand identity while making efficient use of the available interior space.

The environment needed to accommodate functional requirements such as counters, storage, shelving and display areas without compromising the overall customer experience. At the same time, the finished space needed to feel comfortable, inviting and visually distinctive.

Material selection, furniture, lighting and decorative treatments therefore had to work together as part of one coordinated interior rather than as separate elements.

Custom menu display frame coordinated with walnut shelving and service joinery.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic delivered a tailored fit-out package incorporating custom joinery, bespoke furniture and decorative interior treatments.

Display cabinets, counters and shelving were designed and installed to improve space utilisation while maintaining a consistent visual language throughout the coffee shop. These elements provided the practical infrastructure required for operation while also contributing to the overall character of the interior.

Bespoke furniture pieces were developed specifically for the space, combining durability with a design approach aligned to the coffee shop's theme.

Decorative elements, including accent lighting and textured wall finishes, were introduced to strengthen the atmosphere and add visual depth. Premium materials and finishes were selected carefully to create a consistent appearance across the different fabricated and decorative elements.

By coordinating joinery, furniture, finishes and lighting as a single fit-out package, Evolution Scenic created an environment that balanced operational functionality with the brand-led character of the space.

  • Founder’s Memorial Launch – Sheikhat Majlis Scenic Structures & Bespoke Fabrication, Abu Dhabi (2018)

    Evolution Scenic custom scenic elements

Prestigious ceremonial events often require temporary environments that combine architectural scale, hospitality, cultural detailing and operational functionality. For the launch of The Founder’s Memorial in Abu Dhabi, Evolution designed and delivered two large-scale temporary majlis structures for VVIP male and female guests on the lawn of Emirates Palace.

The project combined 10-metre-high branded scaffolding walls, bespoke backlit mashrabiya cladding, a 50-metre entrance ramp, a 1,000-square-metre covered temporary structure, CNC-cut scenic panels, custom lighting effects and bespoke white furniture. Together, these elements created a refined hospitality environment designed to reflect the significance and prestige of the occasion.

Evolution Scenic temporary architecture combining structure, joinery, lighting and furniture fabrication.

    The Challenge

The event required two substantial temporary structures capable of hosting VVIP guests while maintaining a high standard of visual finish and cultural relevance.

The majlis environments needed to feel refined and permanent despite being temporary installations. The structures also had to combine large-scale architectural elements with detailed interior finishes, furniture, lighting and imagery relating to Sheikh Zayed.

The outdoor location added another layer of consideration. The covered structure needed to provide a suitable event environment while also allowing for water drainage in the event of rain.

Guest arrival was equally important. A long elevated approach had to be incorporated into the design to create a smooth and appropriately formal entrance experience.

    The Solution

Evolution delivered two custom-built majlis enclosures incorporating 10-metre-high branded scaffolding walls clad with bespoke wooden backlit mashrabiya panels. The mashrabiya treatment introduced a traditional architectural language while the backlighting added depth and visual presence to the large-scale façades.

A 50-metre-long custom entrance ramp was installed to provide an elevated and considered arrival sequence for guests.

The main covered area utilised an I-Novation temporary structure spanning approximately 1,000 square metres. A fabric roof was incorporated with provision for water drainage, helping protect the event environment in the event of rain.

Inside the majlis structures, 5.3-metre-high CNC-cut scenic panels were fabricated and finished in a custom white spray treatment. Rare photographs of Sheikh Zayed were incorporated into these panels, allowing them to function both as decorative scenic elements and as elegant spatial dividers.

A bespoke lighting treatment was developed to project detailed shadow patterns throughout the interior, adding another visual layer to the mashrabiya-inspired aesthetic.

Custom white furniture was also produced and installed to complete the interior environment and maintain consistency with the client’s visual direction.

  • LIV Golf Riyadh – Scenic Entrances & Interactive Fan Installations, Riyadh (2025)

Daytime view of the scenic entrance portal and circular rotating golf-ball feature.

Major sporting events rely on strong arrival experiences and memorable fan activations to establish energy from the first point of contact. For the first-ever LIV Golf event in Riyadh, Evolution Scenic designed and fabricated a series of high-impact scenic environments and interactive installations that combined bold branding, immersive lighting and audience engagement.

The scope included a custom main entrance feature, a branded wayfinding tower, an immersive IBC container maze and an interactive putting activation. Across these elements, the project brought together scenic fabrication, branded structures, controlled lighting and experiential design to create a visually striking event environment aligned with the LIV Golf identity.

    The Challenge

The event required multiple scenic and experiential elements to work together as one cohesive branded environment while also serving different operational and visitor functions.

The main entrance needed to deliver a strong first impression, combining architectural treatment, scenic branding and lighting with a central focal feature. Elsewhere across the site, additional installations needed to support wayfinding, visitor immersion and interactive participation.

Each element also required a distinct technical and fabrication approach. ACP cladding, scaffolding integration, DMX-controlled lighting, LED systems, Resolume-driven effects and interactive scenic features all had to be incorporated into installations that were visually consistent and engaging for attendees.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic designed and built the main entrance experience around the supplied scaffolding structure, cladding it in ACP to create a more refined and event-specific architectural finish. DMX-controlled signage and accent lightboxes were integrated into the entrance to strengthen visibility and deliver a more dynamic arrival experience.

At the centre of the entrance composition, a branded 2-metre golf ball was mounted on a rotation system within a custom-fabricated roundabout structure, creating a clear focal point that reinforced the event identity. The entrance floor was painted in a striped pattern and carefully matched to the client’s Pantone colours to extend the branded treatment across the full arrival zone.

For The Range Sign, Evolution Scenic constructed a 6-metre-high branded scaffolding tower incorporating a fully DMX-controlled lightbox. This functioned as both a wayfinding element and a large-format scenic branding feature.

The IBC Maze was developed as an immersive walkthrough installation using IBC containers fitted with custom LED lighting systems. These were controlled via Resolume, allowing colour changes and dynamic visual effects to animate the space and enhance the visitor journey.

Within the IBC maze, Evolution Scenic also developed The 19th Hole Experience, an interactive putting game that introduced an additional layer of audience participation and experiential engagement.

Evolution Scenic temporary exhibition architecture installed at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Exhibitor lounges need to work as both hospitality spaces and brand environments, giving attendees somewhere comfortable to meet, network and recharge while maintaining a strong connection to the wider event identity. For the Saudi Event Show in Riyadh, Evolution Scenic designed and fabricated the Exhibitors Lounge as a dedicated networking hub for exhibitors and industry professionals.

The space combined a custom coffee bar, standing networking tables, lounge seating, branded feature walls, integrated display screens and a suspended fabric roof installation. Together, these elements created a functional and visually distinctive environment that supported meetings, coffee breaks and informal industry discussions while also reinforcing Evolution’s presence as a leading sponsor.

Evolution Scenic modular SES Exhibition Lounge with suspended blue fabric ceiling in Riyadh.

    The Challenge

The lounge needed to accommodate different types of activity within one coherent space.

Exhibitors required areas for informal meetings, networking and short breaks, while the environment also needed to remain visually strong enough to stand out within the wider exhibition.

Because Evolution was also a leading sponsor, the lounge had to communicate brand presence without compromising comfort or functionality. Furniture, signage, screens, hospitality infrastructure and overhead scenic treatment all needed to work together as part of one coordinated environment.

Modular white scenic wall construction surrounding fitted lounge seating and display screens.

    The Solution

Evolution Scenic developed a tailored lounge environment centred around hospitality, networking and visual identity.

Standing networking tables were produced to create flexible points for short conversations and spontaneous meetings between exhibitors.

Dedicated lounge seating areas introduced a more relaxed option for longer discussions, balancing professional use with comfort.

Branded feature walls were installed throughout the lounge to establish a clean and contemporary visual identity while also supporting visibility and wayfinding within the exhibition environment.

One of the main scenic features was a floating fabric roof installation composed of suspended fabric drops in the exhibition colours. This overhead treatment added depth and movement to the space while helping define the lounge as a distinct environment within the show.
