In 2019, the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities hosted the Plan Capital Plenary Session and Workshop in Abu Dhabi, focusing on urban innovation and future-oriented strategies for the next 10–15 years.

This event encouraged participants to challenge traditional mindsets and explore groundbreaking trends and solutions for urban development.

Evolution Scenic was commissioned to provide scenic and technical solutions for this high-profile event, transforming multiple spaces into functional and visually impactful environments.

Innovative Scenic Solutions and Seamless Execution

• Main Stage and Innovation Hub: Fabricated a visually dynamic main stage in the primary ballroom, incorporating custom scenic elements. The space also included the Innovation Hub, designed as a collaborative area for brainstorming and ideation.
• Workshop Spaces: Constructed and installed 14 customized workshop setups in a secondary ballroom, tailored to support interactive group sessions and solution-focused discussions.
• Scenic and Technical Production: Delivered AVL equipment support and crafted scenic elements that aligned with the event’s forward-thinking theme.
• Comprehensive Venue Fit-Out: Installed stage backdrops, modular partition walls, and workshop furnishings, ensuring a cohesive and functional event setup.
