EXPO WINTER FEST 2023

Evolution transformed Al Wasl Plaza into a magical winter wonderland for Expo Winter Fest 2023, creating an immersive and festive holiday experience.

The project involved designing and fabricating a traditional chalet-style Christmas market, featuring pine trees, festive fairground games, a towering Christmas tree, and interactive themed installations, including a Santa letter station and toy factory.

Custom Prop Design and Fabrication:

• Elves and Themed Structures: Hand-carved styrofoam elves with a hard coating for durability, alongside a Santa house complete with immersive Christmas elements.
• Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory: A toy factory featuring moving gifts, constructed with wire mesh, metal frames, and MR-MDF, finished with snow flocking for a winter effect.
• Christmas Tree and Baubles: Fairy-lit tree islands with artificial snow, along with a giant bauble display on a custom round platform at the center of Al Wasl’s main stage.
• Santa’s Letter Station and Crowd Control: A refurbished Santa letter station, wooden gift boxes, Christmas baubles, and golden entrance gates for smooth crowd management.

The project adhered to strict health and safety standards, ensuring all scenic elements were secure and the experience was safe for attendees.

The Expo Winter Fest 2023 was delivered on time, offering a fully immersive winter and Christmas experience that delighted visitors.
