In December 2021, Expo 2020 Dubai transformed into XMAS @ EXPO, a magical festive experience that captivated visitors of all ages.

From a towering 20-meter Christmas tree to interactive workshops and enchanting scenic installations, the event brought holiday cheer to life through immersive design and meticulous execution.

As the installation took place during the open period of Expo 2020, Evolution Scenic’s entire scenic team dressed as Santa’s elves, complete with custom elf uniforms.

​This playful approach delighted visitors and became a social media sensation, with guests stopping to take photos and videos of the team in action.

Immersive Festive Design and Scenic Production

• Festive Boulevard & Marketplace: Designed a charming marketplace lined with custom-built chalets, offering seasonal treats and festive merchandise.
• Bespoke Scenic Elements: Installed giant nutcracker figures at the entrance and transformed the iconic Opti-Robot with reindeer antlers.
• Santa’s House & Elf Workshop: Constructed a fully immersive Santa’s House, complete with animated workshop scenes and jolly elves.
• Interactive Family Experiences: Developed engaging activity zones, including a climbing wall, festive crafts, and seasonal storytelling sessions.
• Illuminated Holiday Ambience: Integrated warm, inviting lighting to enhance the festive atmosphere across all installations.

XMAS @ EXPO delivered a truly enchanting festive atmosphere, seamlessly blending interactive experiences, creative scenic design, and holiday magic. The sight of Santa’s elves constructing the installations became a major highlight, going viral on social media and adding an extra touch of joy to the event.
